Social Networking on The Streets Network
We have just enabled some exciting new social and business communication features on The Streets Network.
These new features facilitate useful networking connections between both business and user members in a number of ways:
FOLLOW:
Following a member will subscribe you to that member’s activity and information feeds. You can receive business news, special offers or whatever else that member or business decides to post publicly to the network.
NETWORK CONNECTIONS:
For closer connections between members, users and businesses can request to Connect directly to other members. This builds an open communication network of businesses with each other and their users. These network connections encourage communication between all connected members.
Members that are part of a connected network can invite networked members to join their groups, events and directly post activity to each other.
GROUPS:
Members can also create specialised groups that other members can join and interact with. These can be public groups (anyone can join automatically and post to), semi-public (must request to join) or private groups (invite only). Groups are very powerful and can be used to share information, discuss issues, organise meetups, create private connections with specific groups of suppliers or customers, invite customer feedback, promote sales, events and more!
FAVOURITE BUSINESSES:
Users can also simply “favourite” a business as store them in their favourites list for quick reference in future. These “favourite” lists will eventually be shared between networked members acting almost like a “word of mouth” system online.
These systems come together to facilitate easy B2B (business to business), B2C (business to consumer) as well as easy U2U (user to user) communications.
We look forward to hearing your feedback and connecting with you on The Streets Network!
